Carol is a native Floridian who was raised in Naples, Florida, and graduated from Barron Collier High School. She began working in a law office in Bonita Springs during high school as a typist and receptionist. Over time, she advanced to a legal assistant role at a Naples firm and eventually pursued college and law school, immersing herself in the legal field throughout her adult life. Carol is passionate about practicing law and is dedicated to serving her clients with fairness and integrity.

Gerald R. Collins, Jr. is a native North Carolinian, raised in Mt. Airy, North Carolina where, at age 13, he aspired to become a lawyer. Beginning practice in 1980, Jerry's career as a civil and criminal litigator spanned a period of 43 years. In 2023, he wound down his litigation practice and has since focused his practice solely on estate planning.

Michele Burton is a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Richardson & Sellers, P.A., where she works closely with attorney Carol R. Sellers in supporting the firm’s estate planning practice. Michele brings a diverse background in the legal field to her role and now focuses her work on assisting with estate planning matters. She plays an integral role in the preparation of documents, coordination of client appointments and document signings, and ongoing client communication. 



Michele is often a primary point of contact for clients throughout the estate planning process. She is known for her professionalism, organization, and approachable demeanor. She takes pride in ensuring that each client feels informed, supported and at ease throughout the estate planning process.


A Missouri native, Michele relocated to Florida in 2023 and loves calling Southwest Florida home. She enjoys the beach, exploring the great outdoors, and live music. Above all, Michele cherishes spending time with her three grown children and her grandchildren, who are her absolute favorites.

Kelly Hutter is a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Richardson & Sellers, P.A. where she works to support the firm’s probate practice. With over 36 years of experience as a legal assistant, Kelly brings a depth of knowledge and professionalism that is invaluable to our firm. She has spent the past 13 years focusing on probate administration and now manages all probate matters at our office with efficiency, precision, and care.


Kelly is highly skilled in guiding clients through the probate process, offering both expertise and reassurance during what can be a difficult time. Her approachable nature and genuine compassion make her especially adept at working with clients and building lasting relationships.


She is truly a wonderful asset to our team, and her dedication plays a key role in the quality of service we provide. Outside the office, Kelly enjoys spending time at the beach, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
